Moffat Family Update

I had the thought of posting something on our blog and realized I didn't even remember what it was. Tammy helped me out. That's a bad sign. We need to do better.

We finally got a family picture, even though Lexi isn't looking and Ryan always has a fake, forced smile. This one was the best one we could rummage up after some 500+ shots in three different settings.

Ryan just turned 5 and Lexi is coming up on 2. The kids are both excited for the Holidays. The recent snow was cause for a lot of excitement and getting into the "season".

Today we had a fun day with the families. We had dinner and participated in the traditional gingerbread making at Dad and Mom's. I think there were 8 separate houses built. It was a lot of fun. Lexi was suprisingly accomodating and non-destructive. Come to find out Daniel was placating her with whoppers and M&M's while she sat right next to us. There's lots of truth to kids needing to be seen and heard. It also helps when adults act like adults, not kids - Daniel!

We are looking forward to a great Holiday season and being with the family. It's a great time of year.

Happy Holidays Everyone (that's basically Tammy and I and maybe our one reader, thanks Mom).

John, Tammy, Ryan, Lexi
